1. Give Your Court a Thorough Sweep + Wash 

As the snow from your backyard ice rink or winter accumulation melts away, it often leaves behind a layer of dirt, leaves, and debris.

• Sweep it off: Start by using a soft-bristled push broom to clear away any loose debris.

• Wash it down: For a deeper clean, hose down the tiles to remove caked-on dirt. If necessary, use a mild, manufacturer-approved detergent. Avoid using harsh chemicals or high-pressure power washers unless explicitly approved, as these can damage the surface.

2. Inspect Your Outdoor Surfaces for Winter Wear 

Minnesota's harsh freeze-thaw cycles can be tough on any outdoor structure. Take a walk around your court and visually inspect your outdoor flooring tiles.

• Check for any interlocking tiles that may have shifted or unclipped during the winter.
